Current Status of Global Climate

The Earth is facing unprecedented climate changes in history. The global average temperature is rising, leading to extreme weather events such as storms, floods, and droughts, increasing in both frequency and intensity. Causes of Climate Change

Other activities such as unsustainable aquaculture and excessive use of chemical fertilizers also contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution, indirectly affecting the climate.

Solutions to Climate Change

To address climate change, we need comprehensive and strong solutions. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is the top priority. This can be achieved by switching to renewable energy (solar, wind, geothermal…), increasing energy efficiency, developing public transport, and encouraging the use of green transportation.

Protecting and restoring forests is also an important solution. Planting trees helps absorb CO2 and improve air quality. We need to protect existing forests and promote reforestation.

Besides, there needs to be a change in people’s lifestyles. Reducing energy consumption, using environmentally friendly products, reducing waste, and recycling are practical actions that contribute to protecting the environment and mitigating climate change.

International cooperation is indispensable. Countries need to cooperate with each other to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and share experiences and technologies in responding to climate change.
